Lovely mid terrace thatched cottage in a very pretty village, with a good gastropub five minutes, walk away. Well equipped, spotlessly clean and lots of parking space. It would be perfect as a base for a walking holiday in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Booking was easy and the host was very helpful and quick to respond to any queries we had. We only spent two days here and would love to have been able to stay longer.
Great house – secluded village location with the great local pub. House has all the amenities including a dishwasher. Selection of DVDs and books were good too.
We were are a party of 4 adults and 2 kids which was just enough – the third bedroom was ideal for the kids (single bed and pull out bed). The accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed to be able to cook on a couple of nights. Location was great – Corfe Castle, Durdle Door and Bridport all less than an hour away depending on traffic. A great little gem in the heart of Dorset.
Great cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in Evershot for Dorchester Marathon – great location and secure garden for our dogs. We did take our portable stair gate as stairs and hallway are open so ensured dogs stayed downstairs- if you are taking dogs also this would be a good thing to take to stop them venturing up the stairs. House was as described and as per the pictures. Communication by owners was very informative and fast. Peaceful village and location. Highly recommend.
